Event Planning

Event planning and coordination in Seattle

Day-of coordination and full-service planning from Kat Cirar and Kelly Williams – at our waterfront venue on Lake Union, or at the venue of your choice.

Why it helps

Why have a coordinator?

Because we know the best practices from many years of doing this. A coordinator helps you through the details of a wedding day or weekend, a company party or a gala – anticipating needs in advance, finding the gaps in your timeline and keeping your key vendors talking to each other.

It is your event. Fielding question after question should not be on your to-do list. On a wedding day, your only concern should be “I do.”

For hands-on hosts

Day-of coordination

For hosts who love planning their own event but want to be present on the day, not running it. We typically start four to six months out.

We create and manage your timeline, help with the floor plan and seating, run your ceremony rehearsal, and manage your vendors from load-in to load-out. On the day, you get ten hours of on-site coordination: guest management, cards and gifts, and your personal items – set up, displayed and packed away at the end of the night.

From the start

Full-service planning

For hosts who want help from the very beginning, often a year before the date. We learn your likes and dislikes and help you find the right vendors, from the venue – even if it is not ours – to DJs and photographers. A venue walk-through one to two months out, and ten hours of on-site coordination on the day, are part of it.

Meetings become more frequent as the day approaches, and emails are unlimited. We also go beyond the day itself: custom printing, picking up gowns, guest communication, managing more than one venue, and rehearsal dinners and brunches.

Custom plans are available too. We will work with you to find the one that fits.

Vendor partners

The people we work with

Our trusted partners include DJs, photographers, bakers, glam teams, boat services, bands and musicians. If we do not offer something directly, we can recommend people who do it well.

Already have a planner you love? That works too – at our venue, we give them the floor plan, load-in timing and access.

Booking

How it is booked

Coordination and planning are billed on their own invoice. Full-day rentals at our venue include a one-hour pre-event planning meeting, and venue clients have first right to our coordination services. If we are doing your floral and décor as well, the two work hand in hand.
