Weddings & rehearsal dinners

Waterfront weddings on Lake Union

Envision your wedding at our sparkling waterfront venue on the shores of Lake Union, at 3229 Fairview Ave East. We offer a private dock as an additional rental, should you wish to include a boat in your special day. Capacity allows up to 150 seated at rounds, up to 300 standing. Our exemplary culinary team will meet your food & beverage vision, and our optional floral, décor, and coordination services make the offering complete.

The short version

The building is yours for up to ten hours, ending by 11pm. No food and beverage minimums – if you’re planning on 50 guests, you pay for 50 guests.

A wedding day venue rental gives you building access for up to 10 hours. The rental period ends at 11pm at the latest, though your event can begin and end earlier. Your ceremony can be on the covered patio or in the main ballroom. Enjoy cocktails on the water side, dinner at our 72” rounds and dancing once the tables clear.

Our in-house catering, bar, and service staff are impeccable. Optional services – coordination, floral and décor – are all in the building, should you prefer all in-house vendors. You are not required to use them: some couples arrive with their own planner, photographer or DJ, and that’s OK! Unlike most places, we don’t set food and beverage minimums.

01

Getting ready

Our lovely bridal suite is available from your rental start time and doubles as a quiet respite for signing papers after the ceremony. Air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter – a lovely space to be pampered before your ceremony.

02

Ceremony

Our venue is a great year-round place to get married. The covered patio, with the water behind you, makes a beautiful photo backdrop from May to the beginning of October, and its gas fireplace keeps it a dry, comfortable spot to enjoy the outdoors all year. The main ballroom is also a wonderful ceremony space, with lighted curtains behind you and lovely options for florals.

03

Cocktail hour

Your guests enjoy the patio and bar while the room is flipped. We’re known for our quick room flips!

04

Dinner

Up to 150 at rounds, depending on your vision and vendors. Enjoy a beautiful buffet, or perhaps your vision includes a plated dinner – we’re here to execute it.

05

Dancing

The venue has wood floors, so there’s no need to rent a dance floor. After dinner, we adjust your floor plan to make room for the size of dance floor you need.

06

Out by 11

Your venue rental ends at 11pm, with guests exiting at that time. Vendors then have one hour to load out.

Rehearsal dinners

The night before

We love rehearsal dinners! We bring your weekend vision to light on the night before. Whether you host a welcome dinner for 40 and invite the rest of your guests for cocktails afterwards, or just do the dinner, we have you covered. Since we void all food and beverage minimums, we’re a great location for smaller dinners or a cocktail-style party.

With the covered patio and the versatility of our floor plans, we can create a cozy space for your group. Water views, the patio fireplace and our built-in bar bring a cohesive feel to your pre-wedding evening.

Floral, décor and planning

Flowers, styling and a coordinator

Floral and décor are designed in the building, alongside your menu and your floor plan – by someone who has stood in the room and knows how tall a centrepiece can be before it blocks the water view.

One coordinator runs your event from the first call to the last box out the door.

Bringing your own people

Plenty of couples arrive with a planner, a florist or a photographer they love, and that works – we give them the floor plan, load-in timing and access.
